In Silicon Valley, Ben served as Director of Competitive Intelligence for webMethods (acquired by Software AG), where he analyzed industry sectors, emerging standards, as well as the company’s market competitors in order to present strategic recommendations to the company’s senior management team and to write analyses for over 1,100 employees worldwide. Ben also served as the Director, Solutions Marketing at Appirio, a cloud-based consultancy, where he wrote articles, white papers, and other collateral as an evangelist for crowdsourcing.
